Help Kitty Witty

without comments

new kitty 001

The real life Kitty Witty came to us from the Humane Society of Douglas County. When he arrived there, he had been found in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin, with a cut on his hind leg. The people at the Humane Society helped him by bringing him to the vet, and having his wound cared for. He was also neutered, and given his shots. They took care of all the bills, which were considerably higher than the small adoption fee that we paid.

We took him home and made him part of our family. He went through a couple of name changes. He was named “L’il Man” when we first got him, then “Smokey”, because of his coloring, then “Shadow”, because of the way he follows us around. And, finally, he comes running when his Mom calls, “Kitty Witty Witty”!

After his big adventure, he no longer goes outside to play, nor does he seem to have any interest in doing so. If the other kitties go out, he’ll watch them through the screen, and call out to them. Probably because he’s afraid they’ll get lost like he did.

In addition to discovering how much he likes treats, he found the love of his life, Tiny Kitty, after joining our household. Tiny Kitty doesn’t necessarily share the same love for him. He has to sneak up on her when she’s sleeping in order to snuggle. Then he’s so proud of himself, that he purrs so loud that he wakes her up.

There are many more animals that need homes. The Humane Society helps hundreds of pets like Kitty Witty find homes each year, and they need your help to do it.

This is where you can help Kitty Witty help those who helped him. Find out more, and donate today.

Please send donations directly to the Humane Society of Douglas County.

Thank you.

P.S. Tell them Kitty Witty sent you!
